INLAYS AND ONLAYS

Inlays and onlays are cosmetic fillings placed into the crown in case of significant cavities. They are an alternative to traditional dental fillings.

Inlays and onlays are made on the basis of dental impressions from porcelain, gold alloys, composites as well as complex amalgams such as gold and ceramics.

Teeth reconstructed with the use of inlays and onlays look very natural, do not decolour, are strengthened up to 75% and their average durability is of approx. 10 years.

Contraindications for onlays and inlays include significant cavities. They are not performed on incisives and canine teeth – in this case we use only implant crowns.
